Methi Harvesting & Little Sellers @ IISS Learning Garden
Our Grade 12 students actively participated in harvesting fresh methi at the IISS Learning Garden, guiding younger students as part of our Buddy Programme.
Through this experience, older students mentored and ...collaborated with their younger buddies, teaching them about sustainable farming, environmental care, and teamwork. They also gained hands-on experience in selling produce, handling money, and promoting locally grown, healthy food.
This initiative strengthened leadership, responsibility, and community spirit, reinforcing the value of learning by doing, while building a supportive, eco-conscious buddy community and contributing to a sustainable future.

Celebrating the 54th UAE National Day – Eid Al Etihad at India International School Sharjah
The spirit of unity was alive and vibrant at India International School as we celebrated the 54th UAE National Day – Eid Al Etihad. From the very first moment, the halls and walls themselves ...seemed to speak the story of the UAE, echoing pride, heritage, and togetherness. The day began with an inspiring documentary tracing the glorious journey of the UAE, setting the tone for a celebration of history, progress, and unity. Across our playground and hallways, students engaged in traditional Emirati games that brought joy and cultural connection, including Karabie Al Banat, Khan’s Regag, Khosa Bosa, and many more, filling every corner with laughter and cheer.
The celebrations continued with food and heritage stalls showcasing the UAE’s flavors, crafts, and culture, speeches, presentations, and assemblies from Kindergarten through Grade 12, and patriotic songs and performances marking the UAE’s journey of unity and progress. Costume parades and student soldiers honored the courage of the nation’s protectors, while every detail, from the little flags held by our youngest learners to the inspiring performances of senior students, reflected a shared pride in the UAE as our home, our heritage, and our future. As the Union flag soared high and songs of pride echoed through classrooms, halls, and playgrounds, the school came together as one family, united in celebration of 54 years of progress, unity, and vision.
